Copies of prerequisite credentials should be suppliied prior to course. Enrollment payment for class should be about 3 weeks prior to start date to give time for materials to be delivered.
We have a DAN Examiner on staff, so moving from this Instructor Quallification Class to Instructor Trainer is readily available as the next step.
This course includes all the course materials, Trainer Outline and instructor outlines for DFA Pro, DEMP, BLS, O2 First Aid, Hazardous Marine Life Injuries, On-site Neurological Assessment, and BLS Healthcare Provider. When you have successfully completed this program you will be an instructor for all of the above mentions DAN Programs.
DFA Pro has just been accepted by the US Coast Guard as a program that meets their requirements.

How to become a DAN Instructor Trainer
DAN Instructor Trainers are experienced DAN instructors who are dedicated to dive safety education. DAN Instructor Trainers are the only individuals certified to train DAN Instructors as part of the DAN Instructor Qualification Course (IQC). After completing a DAN Instructor Trainer Workshop (ITW), DAN Instructor Trainers can present the knowledge and skills development sessions of the core module and the various course modules of the IQC.
Be a current DAN instructor who has already conducted DAN First Aid classes.
Be an Instructor Trainer with your scuba training agency.
Participate in an Instructor Trainer Workshop (ITW).
Start training when you receive confirmation from DAN.
Instructor Trainers must maintain active teaching status with DAN to conduct DAN training programs. To maintain active teaching status, DAN Instructors must teach or assist with teaching each course in which they are certified once within a 24-month period.
